I haven’t been this happy on how some fruit came out when I drew them since attending the Art Students League when I was 15. It’s silly but the biggest fear when I started this was how I would be able to portray mundane items. Most artists can do the big action shots and powerful moments at least some justice but to capture and illuminate coffee makers and parking meters is the sign of mastery, IMHO. Whether I’ve achieved that, I leave to you, dear readers. Something else I’ve been trying to do is pull back a bit in some panels. Close ups and Jim Shooter-style medium shots are bread and butter but giving the audience a bit of perspective is key as well.

My table is ready at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art Festival on April 28 and 29, at  the 69th Regiment Armory 68 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY. I’ll have a cool display of Thor’s gear, trading cards, t-shirts and the first collection from my webcomic!
