Discovering Grid’s staff while researching the comic was a real boon to the structure of the team. Thrud’s background as a Valkyrie led me naturally to think of Odin’s spear, Gugnir. But I didn’t want the kids to be wielding weapons designed to kill. Hammers, Iron gloves and Staves are dangerous but have ‘wiggle room’ in their use.
